delhiNew Delhi, Friday, October 31 – The inhabitants of the national capital woke up to a cloudy day on Friday. Despite the fact that the gloomy picture on the sky did not boost the hopes of rainfall, people yet heaved a sigh of relief by the thought that searing heat would probably be not felt today.

Even though temperature is not high these days and people prefer to slow down the speed of fan at home, intensity of the sunlight kept realizing them the summer season is not over completely. Here is to mention that the duration of warm days have been a tad bigger this year. Lack of rainfall during peak monsoon season hit the final nail in the coffin. Delhi and some other states strived for precipitation from the period of July to September, not ending the thirst of the earth.

Scorching heat even up till late October annoyed the masses, increasing their wait to witness good climatic conditions. From past few days, situation has slightly changed. Partially cloudy sky made the mercury to dip to some extent. Today’s minimum and maximum temperatures are probable to remain 21 degree Celsius and 31 degree Celsius, respectively, and will go down to 18 and 29 degree Celsius by the end of this week.

If recent reports from weathermen is to be jotted down then the coming week will be sunlit. The percentage of humidity will be less and wind will blow at the speed of 5 km per hour to 19 km per hour. Mild chills might be observed early morning buy noontime will be hot. If truth be told then the real wintry feel in the city will be experienced after middle of the next month. Thanks to good weather at present in the national capital, a number of residents were spotted enjoying their visit at popular monuments with family and friends.
