Mumbai Win against Haryana in Ranji Trophy Match; Sachin Shines

sachin2 October 30 – Team members of Mumbai are now on cloud nine as their team beat Haryana with four wickets in Ranji Trophy match. Finally, the time arrived to give a memorable farewell to the Little Master– Sachin Tendulkar that should be remembered throughout his life.

Tendulkar was the highest scoring batsman from Mumbai, hitting a knock of 79 runs of 176 balls. Contribution of Dhawal Kulkarni’s 16 runs (72 balls) can’t be forgotten as well in view of the fact that in the last few hours of the game yesterday, Mumbai lost couple of wickets quickly.

After winning the match, ‘God of Cricket’ thanked people of Lahli for supporting him. He was as gracious and humble as he has always been. Sachin signs off in terrific style, remaining unbeaten till the last on the challenging wicket. He led his to team victory in his final Ranji match. Now, he gears up for his final appearance in the test match against West Indies in Mumbai that will start from Nov 14. Sachin to retire from all form of cricket on 18th of next month only.

Chasing the target of 240 set by Haryana, Mumbai got it loosing 6 wickets only. 22 extras were given by Haryana. Mohit sharma was the most successful bowlers from Haryana, getting 2 wickets of 79.
