On one hand, Australia will try to be at the leading stage by winning the match on Wednesday, while on the other hand, Indian team is looking forward to give a good competition to the Australia once again and win the match to level by 2-2 in the seven -match ODI series.

Winning the toss, India elected to field first. A good show was shown by Indian bowlers making Australia to loose its four wickets at the score of just 71. However, a little stability came when Maxwell and Bailey came for batting. Bailey made brilliant 98 runs out of 94 balls. However, he missed scoring 100 when Rohit Sharma took a very fine catch in the over of Vinay Kumar.

Maxwell also imparted his role perfectly as a batsman, scoring 92 runs of 77 balls, but he had to depart without hitting century when Vinay Kumar got him as his another wicket. James Faulkner, who stole the show in the third ODI on Saturday, could not do much and made just 23 runs of 29 balls. Australia finished off the match putting 295 on the board loosing 8 wickets and playing for the whole 50 -over match.

Mohammad Shami took 3 wickets in 8 overs, giving 42 runs. Both Vinay Kumar and Ashwin bagged 2-2 wickets. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja also got 1 wicket.

Indian team is still to bat. Good show is expected from it in view of the fact that the team will try to pour all that inputs could help them win the match. Scores over 300 were even not sufficient for both the team in the previously played matches. So, it will be interesting to watch what ‘men in blue’ do to get 295.
